Androgynous people’s portraits
2015-
Some people do not decorate themselves, or if they do so, they wear artificial “signs” – for example jewels and dresses – contradicting to the social consensus concerning their biological sex. If this behavior goes with natural endowments, then fellow people will have difficulties in realizing whether these people are women or men. I hope that my portraits of androgynous people reflect their seeking, uncertain and stubborn character or in other words: reflect their special harmony. I have been working on the project since 2015. My aim is to show up a wide human world between the seemingly clear-cut woman-man identifications.
